Why do we ask you to pay a membership fee?
We would love to offer membership for free, but running a national movement is not without cost.
It takes real money to employ staff, rent offices, maintain digital systems, pay for equipment,
and cover the essential day-to-day operations needed to build the country you want and deserve.
What matters is this:
we will never take more money than we need.
If the day comes where membership fees are no longer required, membership will become free — immediately.
If we end the year with a surplus, we treat that surplus as your money. In that situation we will either:
reduce the following year’s membership fees proportionately,
or
put the decision to a vote of the membership — such as whether certain groups (pensioners, veterans, emergency responders) should receive free membership for that year.
You decide.
That is how a democratic movement should operate — transparently, responsibly, and always in the interests of its members.
